AAUA Shines at NUGA Games

Zenith Bank Debuts in AAUA, Assures of Excellent Service Delivery
Adekunle Ajasin University Branch of Zenith Bank was on Tuesday last week inaugurated by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Rotimi Ajayi, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Femi Mimiko.
A Senior Manager of the bank, Mr. Oluseye Alade, assured the University Community and other prospective customers of excellent service delivery.
Zenith Bank had earlier offered skeletal services in a small cubicle for years on campus before upgrading to full-scale operations.
Mr. Alade said, “We are now on campus to give you the Zenith Bank excellent service. I want you to know that the staff and the students are the reasons why we are here. In Zenith Bank, we refer to our customers as gods. We don’t compromise quality service delivery. Service failure is a major offence in Zenith Bank and we don’t allow it.”
He appreciated the University Management for its support and expressed the confidence that the University would continue to provide an enabling environment for the operations of the bank.
The Manager added, “If there is any area of our services that you want us to improve upon, please tell us. We take complaints as gifts.”
He promised that, in no distant time, Zenith Bank would identify with the University in the area of discharge of the corporate social responsibility.
Earlier in his remark, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rotimi Ajayi, described the presence of the bank on campus as a confirmation of its confidence in the University.
The DVC urged the bank to improve on its service delivery to the University Community and advised it to bring up innovative ideas to its services to attract customers.
While the DVC promised that the University would do everything possible to continue to provide a conducive environment for the bank, he urged it to treat “our staff and students with dignity.”
The University Bursar, Mr. Olayiwola Akinterinwa, said the University would encourage its staff and students to patronize the bank. The Bursar said although change of bank by staff is usually granted in March and other designated months of the year, “We will make the laws to change to Zenith Bank only, flexible for our staff.”
Prof. Ajayi (later cut the tape to inaugurate) the bank to the glory of God and the use of mankind.
